Our small seminar, retreat and guest house is located in a small valley below the Gempenturm in the Basel Jura. The former farmhouse was lovingly renovated to a very high standard in 2006. The barn was torn down and the seminar and vacation rooms were rebuilt (this can be seen in the photos on the wooden facade). The original house (white facade) is currently home to three of us. On the first floor is the approx. 100m2 seminar room with direct access to the large terrace with its wonderful view. It has its own kitchen and WC. On the second floor is the apartment with kitchen, two rooms and two bathrooms. Under the roof is the dojo, which has been converted for meditation and yoga as well as for additional sleeping space. All floors can be booked individually or combined. The Schartenhof is just a 30-minute drive from Basel. With no direct neighbors, you will find peace and quiet here for your seminars and retreats.
