For 800 years, a monument of national importance has stood on the castle rock on the Emme River: Burgdorf Castle. After the castle has experienced a lot, it has been completely open to the public for the first time since spring 2020. In addition to the museum with educational offers for schools, there are now overnight accommodations in the youth hostel, a ceremony venue, seminar and banquet facilities as well as the Burgdorf Castle restaurant.
