Locarno Youth Hostel offers the perfect location for many guests. It has various rooms (from double to six-bed rooms) and, in addition to a seminar room, a multifunctional music room, which can be used for performances as well as parties and events of all kinds. The old town of Locarno begins just behind our hostel in the Palagiovani (Youth Palace). The center is the Piazza Grande, where in summer events such as the Moon&Stars or the film festival enchant the evening atmosphere in front of ancient facades. During the day, Lake Maggiore or the turquoise waters in the romantic river valleys of the hinterland invite you to linger. If you prefer to see all the sights from above, make a pilgrimage to the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church in Orselina and then set off to conquer the summit of the local mountain, Cardada. From there you can see both the highest and lowest point in Switzerland - almost like the birds of prey at the local falconry.
