The Greifensee Castle Foundation has the task of looking after this place of history and "opening it up to the region for the cultivation of cultural life and further education" ... in short, preserving the venerable walls and filling them with life.
The foundation was established in 1992 and has received the castle on loan from the Canton of Zurich. The foundation has no further financial support from the public sector.
Individual rooms or the entire castle can be rented for events: seminars, conferences, lectures, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, symposia, congresses, events, banquets, but also anniversaries, birthdays, cultural occasions, weddings, marriage ceremonies and more.
The beauty of the natural lake landscape and the atmosphere within the historic walls offer the best conditions for people who want to unleash their creative powers.
